Welcome to my Web page! I am thankful for the opportunity to introduce myself and my practice to you. I look forward to meeting you!
I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. I attended UCLA for my undergraduate studies in biology, then completed my optometry degree at UC Berkeley. I decided to move back to Southern California to stay close to my family and friends. I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the healthcare field, and I ultimately pursued optometry because I started wearing glasses at a young age and realized the value of sight. I also desired to serve others and improve their quality of life by helping them see and meet all their daily visual needs.
I love meeting new people and working together with them to help attain their visual goals. I especially enjoy working with patients who wear cosmetic contact lenses. I also specialize in fitting rigid gas permeable or scleral contact lenses in patients who have irregular corneas from diseases such as keratoconus or post-surgical procedures. In addition, I am certified to treat and manage glaucoma. I enjoy practicing at Kaiser Permanente because I am part of a great team of physicians and specialists that allows me to care for not only my patient's vision, but also, their overall health.
For physical health, I make every effort to eat healthy balanced meals and get a good night's rest each night. I also enjoy playing tennis, biking by the beach, and taking walks with my husband. In my spare time, I love meeting up with friends, trying out new restaurants, and reading with a good cup of coffee. I am also actively involved in my church and enjoy serving others.
