Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I have happily practiced at Kaiser Permanente for over 30 years. I am one of the regular staff pediatricians here at the Glendale Medical Offices.
I have always enjoyed volunteering, even in high school, where I volunteered for Future Teachers of America and the American Red Cross. As a biology major in college, I worked in a research laboratory identifying various proteins. Later I volunteered in a local hospital to get firsthand experience working in the health field. All of these experiences helped me on my road to becoming a physician. I have been medical advisor for PACE HeadStart for over 30 years, as well as volunteering with other community groups over the years.
About my practice
I feel that our nursing staff in our office gives consistently excellent service, and I feel very fortunate to work with such capable nurses. Our pediatric group consists of four physicians, including myself.
How I thrive
I feel that balance among mind, body, and spirit is very important. Over the years, I've developed a regular exercise plan that includes long walks, swimming, yoga, and qigong practice. I have been a member of a book club for 30 years, which has enriched my life. Volunteerism also has been very important to me, whether mentoring medical students, working with my local Head Start preschool program, or encouraging young people to seek careers in medicine.
