Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I'm glad to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente, where we strive to provide high-quality care to all of our members.
Born in Hong Kong, I came to the United States for higher education. I earned my undergraduate degree in pharmacy at the University of Iowa, and my Ph.D. in pharmacology at the University of Illinois before completing my medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago. I enjoy outdoor activities, so I moved to sunny Southern California to complete my postgraduate medical training at USC for internal medicine and UCLA for geriatric medicine. I am board certified in both internal medicine and geriatric medicine.
About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I'm also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health. It helps me better care for you when you are actively involves in taking care of your health.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of total health, which considers all aspects of a person's state of being—body, mind, and spirit. I enjoy traveling and watching college sporting events (Iowa, Illinois, USC, UCLA) for relaxation. I make it a priority to set aside time to exercise and read a good medical journal.
