Where I practice
Hi. I'm glad to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am a developmental behavioral pediatrician. I am very happy to be part of the Kaiser Permanente Pediatrics Department. I am fortunate to have such wonderful colleagues and patients.
I grew up in Southern California and am very grateful to my parents for the upbringing and opportunities they have given me. My first desire to help in the field of medicine was when I was in elementary school and one of my relatives was ill. With pencil in hand, I wrote a letter to a national medical association suggesting 2 possible treatments. My concern developed into a passion for helping children with disabilities and medical problems, and their families. I became a developmental pediatrician to improve the quality of children's lives.
About my practice
I am a developmental pediatrician specializing in areas such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, and child development. It is important to me to help each child live to his or her highest potential. I try to treat each patient and his or her family with the same knowledge, skill, compassion, and understanding that I would like my family to be offered.
How I thrive
I thrive by spending time with friends and family. I enjoy singing and playing the piano. I also like to be active, take walks, eat a well-balanced diet, and make the most of every moment of the life I have been given.
