Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente and am committed to providing you with compassionate, quality care.
As the youngest son of two physicians, I was exposed to medicine throughout my childhood and chose surgery as a career early in life. My first toy was a real stethoscope given to me by my parents. They taught me compassion, empathy, and to have a dedication to serving people in need. I am now teaching those same principles to my own two children with the help of my wonderful wife.
About my practice
As a surgeon, I frequently see patients recently diagnosed with cancer who can benefit from an operation. These include patients with breast, colon, liver, and skin and soft tissue tumors, including melanoma and sarcoma. I also perform common, non-cancer-related operations, many of which are done laparoscopically, which is minimally invasive surgery. I am a strong proponent of medicine based on the most current research but never lose sight of the importance of humanistic qualities, including respect and compassion, which I value very much.
How I thrive
In order to take good care of you, I must stay in good shape both mentally and physically myself. I get daily support from my loving family and close friends. My free time is spent playing soccer and tennis with my two boys. I understand the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and strongly promote that for my patients.
