About me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I love being a family physician, and I am honored to serve our members in English and Spanish!

Biography

I grew up in the Northeast, but have lived most of my life in Southern California. After attending Dartmouth College and medical school at USC, I completed training in Los Angeles County hospitals. Navy service followed; I deeply respect those who serve in the Armed Forces. After completing my service obligation, I practiced for several years in academic practice, mentoring young family doctors. Following that, I was in private practice for many years. It is both nostalgic and exciting for me to join the Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center, since I delivered babies there years ago and sometimes worked in urgent care. I look forward to working together with our Fontana members to care for their health.

About my practice

I enjoy caring for people from all walks of life, without regard to age or gender. I have been a family doctor for over thirty years now, and still find it special work. My philosophy of life is "to whom much is given, much is required."

How I thrive

I strive to balance body, mind, and spirit, and I work to cultivate all three. My wife and I enjoy exercising together, movies, travel, and Scrabble! I admire and encourage my own children as they pursue their medical dreams.
