Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page! Thank you for choosing Kaiser Permanente as your health care provider. I consider it a privilege to take care of your eye care needs in a health care setting where we work as a team to serve you in all aspects of your personal health.
My interest in health care started in high school when my optometrist helped me with contact lenses so that I could play basketball and volleyball. I received my undergraduate degree in psychobiology at UCLA, and subsequently volunteered to work with my optometrist while working part-time as a behavior therapist. To further my training, I went to the UC Berkeley School of Optometry to pursue my doctorate degree. While completing my graduate studies, I was diagnosed with cancer and treated by outstanding and caring physicians. I believe that life is a gift and that it is a blessing and privilege for me to be able to care for your eye care needs.
About my practice
I started practicing in 1997 and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2004. In addition to my primary eye care responsibilities, I care for those who have eye conditions such as eye allergies, eye infections, glaucoma, and irregular corneas. My goal is to help my patients make the best decisions for their eyes and their health.
How I thrive
My family and I enjoy biking, hiking, kayaking, and nature. We attend and serve at our church in Pasadena. In addition, we volunteer with non-profit organizations to teach kids how to kayak and to distribute food to those in need around the world.
