Hello. I hope this page will help you start to get to know me. I look forward to your visit!
Growing up in Southern California, I enjoyed an active lifestyle. After graduating from college with a degree in economics, I began a traditional career path with an internship in banking. As a hobby, I was a Tai Chi enthusiast and ran a small studio. I soon discovered that my passion for the world of business was waning, but my interest in health care was growing. I returned to school to finish my premedical requirements and enrolled at the California College of Podiatric Medicine (CCMP) in San Francisco. After my surgical residency in Texas, I returned to CCPM for a fellowship in diabetic podiatric care, and then signed on for a stint in the U.S. Navy. After working for various medical groups in the area, I chose Kaiser Permanente because here I am able to focus on providing high-quality care and can work with my colleagues as a team, each providing their expertise to achieve results.
About my practice
I enjoy the individual rapport I strive to develop with each patient. I find active listening, feedback, and a dose of gentle humor to be a good recipe for establishing trust with those in my care. We will thoroughly discuss all options for your treatment, and proceed in a manner that best suits your needs.
How I thrive
I've become an active tennis player since living in Long Beach. It’s a great way to spend time outdoors and engage in a team sport. I'm also a music and music history enthusiast. Be-bop and modern jazz are my personal favorites, along the classic rock and folk. My wife and I love to travel and experience other cultures. Together we have traveled to Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. Hiking in and around Machu Piccu and trekking on a Kenyan safari were great highlights in our lives, and we are looking forward to future travels.
