About me

Welcome to my Web page! My name is Dr. Christina Kendrick, and I am board certified in pediatric and general anesthesia.

Biography

I am a fourth-generation California native and grew up right here in Orange County. I always knew I wanted to be a physician, so right after high school I entered a combined bachelor of science/medical degree program through the UC Riverside/UCLA Biomedical Sciences program. After graduation, my internship was in general surgery at Harbor-UCLA, where I gained skills in trauma, critical care, and management of surgical patients. I completed my anesthesia residency at University of Arizona in Tucson. Then I went on to subspecialize with a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Upon completion of my fellowship, I had the opportunity to come back to Orange County, and I am so excited to be a part of Kaiser Permanente’s Orange County family.

About my practice

Not only do I have the privilege of taking care of some of our smallest members on the pediatric anesthesia team, but I also take care of our adult members needing surgery or those in labor. I have a special interest in regional anesthesia and perform ultrasound-guided nerve blocks for postoperative pain management.

How I thrive

I regularly practice yoga and chase my 2 kids to stay active! I also seek out volunteer opportunities such as Special Olympics Southern California and Access OC.
