Where I practice
Welcome! I’m happy to have the chance to present my credentials and a bit about myself and my professional interests. This will help you know if we might be a good fit together for your care. I look forward to meeting you in the office!
I am a West Coast native with a background in studio art, and I decided to become a physician after experiencing a transformation in my own daily life after making huge health changes and training for and completing my first marathon. Before going to medical school, I completed my master’s degree in Public Health in Epidemiology here in San Diego. I completed medical school and residency in Pennsylvania and returned home to San Diego to be near family and enjoy the diversity of the community and the beautiful ocean.
About my practice
My personal mission is to help people find their own next step in wellness. To that end, I focus on helping members find the best health choices for them at any stage of life. I enjoy caring for members with chronic diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure because even small changes can make big differences—not just in the numbers we talk about in your visits, but in how you feel every day in your life. I passionately believe that the better you feel, the more you can find your own strengths and realize how you can contribute to your family and community, and that’s how we all make progress together. I have special professional interests in Integrative Medicine, Women's Health, Nutrition, and Stress Management.
How I thrive
My own wellness and balance are important to me and allow me to support members in their own journey of health. I enjoy running and long walks with my dog. I’ve been known to run a few marathons, although I’m currently running shorter distances. To help manage stress, I meditate daily and exercise feeling gratitude. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, and spending time at the ocean and time with my family.
