Where I practice
Welcome! I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you more about my practice.
I was born and raised in Texas, and the majority of my family still lives there. I attended college at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, followed by medical school at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. During my medical training, I was certain that I would become an ER physician, but that quickly changed during my pediatrics rotation. After spending 26 years living in Texas, I moved to California to complete my pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. I stayed on as an attending physician there for 3 years and then joined a hospital-based clinic in Rochester, New York.
About my practice
One of my highest priorities is partnering with children and their families to help them reach their goals. I truly value the time I am able to spend with families, and I learn new things from them every day! I believe in preventive care and routine immunizations as the best ways to keep children healthy, and my approach to treating illness is based on evidence and current research. Additionally, I have experience and a special interest in caring for children with ADHD and autism.
How I thrive
I love to travel and explore new cultures (and food!) when I have the opportunity. I stay physically healthy by running and playing tennis, but I also enjoy having downtime playing video games, listening to Korean pop music (“KPOP”), and exploring series on Netflix.
