About me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician and as a physician administrator at Kaiser Permanente. I’m a pediatrician, and I’m proud to have worked for Kaiser Permanente in the Tustin and Santa Ana area for the past 15 years. I transitioned into my administrative role as the physician in charge of my building because I have a passion for member care and my physician colleagues and I want to work to make our building a warm, friendly place to receive health care. I’m proud of the staff here at the Santa Ana Medical Offices.

Biography

I love taking care of kids and their families. I’ve wanted to be a doctor since I was 11 years old. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a major in biology and double minors in chemistry and health education. I started my career at Children’s Hospital of Orange County, where I was fortunate enough to help create a mobile health project that brought medical care directly to underserved children at various schools in Santa Ana. I spend a lot of time visiting family and friends back in Dallas, but I much prefer the weather here. I enjoy anything that has to do with being outside—I’m crazy about flowers, and I’m always learning something new.

About my practice

Our pediatric practice here operates like a family. We value teamwork and like for our members to get to know each of us—that way, if one of us is out of the office, members can feel comfortable receiving care from anyone on staff. All of my colleagues are in pediatrics because they chose to serve children and their families. I believe in vaccines and promote their use according to the schedule laid out by the American Academy of Pediatrics. I’m open to caring for the LGBTIQ community.

How I thrive

When not at work, I enjoy time outdoors—either in my garden or at a local park for a long walk or hike. I believe in living a balanced life with plenty of time for my family, relaxing, exercising, and traveling. I always have a creative project in progress to allow my mind to expand. I’m an avid practitioner of yoga, and I share this passion with my members.
