Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I am happy to have the opportunity to introduce myself. I am thrilled to work for Kaiser Permanente and am proud to be part of this organization. I have been very impressed, both as a physician and as a member, with the quality of care that we provide.
I am originally from Southern California. I left home for college on the East Coast and graduate school in England. Family and the sunny weather of Southern California beckoned me back for medical school and residency. My husband, daughter, pets, and I are now happy to be putting down our roots in a community close to where my husband and I grew up.
About my practice
I went into emergency medicine because I want to be a source of comfort and support to people during their most painful and stressful moments. Coming to the Emergency Department can be a very frightening experience. I aim to provide compassionate care and thorough evaluations to give people an accurate diagnosis and, hopefully, peace of mind.
How I thrive
My goal is to be healthy in my mind, my body, and my spirit. I want to live life to its fullest. I do this by spending time with my family, which includes my husband, daughter, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and in-laws. I take care of my body through walking, running, hiking, and yoga. I enjoy the natural world through hiking and gardening. I enjoy traveling the world and exploring new cultures and natural landscapes. I am proud of what I do for a living and of my contribution to the health and well-being of people and their families.
