Where I practice
Welcome! It's a pleasure to share information about myself and my practice. I think it's important that you feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know a little more about me.
I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, and after completing my medical training, chose to return here to practice medicine. I made the decision to become a doctor when I was in eighth grade, because it combined two of the things I enjoyed the most--science and interacting with people. Being a specialist in infectious diseases allows me to deal with the whole patient, and not just focus on a particular organ or area.
About my practice
In my practice I like to deal with each patient as an individual, not only with individual medical issues, but also with individual personalities, concerns, and lives. I often work with a team of other health professionals, including doctors, nurses and medical assistants, pharmacists, educators, dieticians, therapists, and social workers. We make an effort to coordinate your care to provide the best medical outcomes.
How I thrive
I firmly believe that being healthy means creating balance in your life, including balancing your professional and personal interests and time. I try to allow time to spend with my family and to do the things I enjoy, in addition to the time I spend caring for patients.
