About Me

Welcome to my Web page. This is a great opportunity for me to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I am a family medicine physician and have been practicing at Kaiser Permanente in Camarillo for more than 20 years. I truly enjoy my profession, as it has allowed me to meet and care for people from various walks of life and cultures. I am fortunate to be able to treat a very diverse group of patients here in Camarillo.

I was born and raised in Oxnard. I have been married to my wife for over 20 years, and we have four children. My interest in medicine started in my childhood. I was fortunate to meet kind and caring physicians who helped and encouraged me to pursue a career in medicine. My eldest child is 20 and will be starting her fourth year at UCLA. I have three sons aged 17,15, and eight. They are all active in sports.

About my practice

I decided to specialize in family practice because it allows me the opportunity to treat the entire family. I enjoy treating all age groups, from the very young to the elderly. I have an excellent nurse with whom I have worked for many years. My philosophy is very simple: treat your patients the way you would want to be treated. My goals are to provide quality care and to create an environment in my practice that provides compassion, comfort, and confidence to our members.

How I thrive

I remain very active with my family. My children enjoy participating in all sports, and I enjoy coaching them. My duties have varied from being a basketball coach to helping in other sports. I also stay active by playing in a weekly basketball league. I am still very excited to be able to practice medicine, thanks to the camaraderie that I share with my colleagues and the opportunity to care for our members during a time when medical technology is changing.
