About Me

I am originally from the Philippines. I earned my medical degree there and worked as a general practitioner for about four years before coming to the U.S. in 2009 to pursue further training. I have always loved the scope of endocrinology. I had a wonderful learning experience during my fellowship at University of Maryland. I am married to an outdoorsy Colorado man and we have two precious children.

About my practice

I am based at the Parkside Medical Offices in Colorado Springs. I treat adult diabetes and provide general endocrinology care. I work with my patients as a team, encouraging you to provide input on your plan of care so we can meet your needs. I listen to understand your questions and concerns, and seek to provide you with the most appropriate care. I can answer some questions via phone or email. I am most interested in diabetes mellitus (1 and 2), thyroid cancer and pituitary cases. For our diabetic patients, we offer diabetes education classes and dietitian services. Diabetes visits include meeting with myself, our RN diabetes educator and our registered dietitian. For those with thyroid concerns, we perform thyroid nodule fine needle aspiration biopsy.

How I thrive

One of the main reasons we moved back to Colorado is to enjoy the outdoors. My family and I do a lot of hiking in our free time. We also believe in enriching our experience through travel and learning about different cultures.
