Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I look forward to working with you and doing everything I can to care for your health.
I was born and raised in Southern California. It was my grandfather's wish to have a physician in the family, and he encouraged me to study medicine. I am proud to be the first physician in my family. I completed my undergraduate studies and residency specialty training at UCLA, and in between went to medical school in New York. I chose to come back to Southern California to be close to my wonderful family and friends who are here.
I treat an array of musculoskeletal conditions, and I strive to manage them conservatively (in other words, without excessive or unnecessary treatment). My goal is to keep you as functional as possible. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are already taking good care of yourself. I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy. If I can humbly share the most important thing I have learned over my years of studying and practicing, it is this: exercising at least 150 minutes a week which is by far the best medicine available to all of us!
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of health in body, mind, and spirit, and I try to emulate it in my life every day. My family life is my highest priority and I enjoy spending time with them. This is especially so with the birth of my first son recently! Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I set aside time to exercise daily, eat right, and enjoy a variety of hobbies that fulfill me.
