About Me

I’m from Boston, MA, and am close with my family despite living so far away. I went to Syracuse University in New York where I received my bachelor’s in nursing while participating in the ROTC (reserve officer training corps) program. I joined the Army Nurse Corps after graduation and was then stationed at Fort Hood, TX. I spent most of my active duty time in the intensive care unit and emergency department. After seeing much trauma and illness, I decided I wanted to be more proactive in helping people. I received my master’s in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from SUNY Stonybrook. I am married to my best friend whom I met at Syracuse. We have two healthy daughters that are growing up way to fast.

About my practice

I have been working in Ob/Gyn Department since 2009 and I love my job. I have special interest in hormones and how they affect women's bodies throughout their lifetime. I prefer to treat women holistically-mind, body, and spirit. I will only recommend research based options to ensure safety at all times. I believe my role is as much an educator as it is a problem solver. I see my relationship with a member as a partnership. However, a woman needs to feel comfortable with her decision. Each woman is unique and all have their own needs. I tailor my recommendations to try and meet each woman's particular needs.

How I thrive

I love to run, travel, snowboard, read, and spend time with my family.
