About Me

I'm from Virginia and went to school at the University of Virginia and Johns Hopkins Medical School. I had always lived on the East Coast but came to Colorado to explore all of the outdoor wonders it had to offer. I have loved living in Colorado ever since and have no plans to leave! I have a wonderful wife and a black lab/border collie named Oliver.

About my practice

I have the privilege of taking care of patients when they are frightened, sick and having an emergency. My main goal is to provide you with an accurate diagnosis as quickly as possible so that we can get you feeling better and back to doing the things you love. I believe in working with patients to come up with the ideal decisions and care plans for them. Every patient is different and deserves the option to make informed choices about their care through collaboration with their physician. I seek to use evidence-based medicine to help my patients make the most well-informed decisions possible.

How I thrive

I love to read and exercise. My favorite books are those on psychology, decision making and behavioral economics. I love the work of Daniel Kahneman, Nassim Nicholas Taleb and Dan Gilbert.
