About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have the opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice.

Biography

Originally from the Chicago area, I completed my undergraduate degree at Columbia University and came to California in order to attend medical school at UCLA. I decided to stay here in Southern California to be near family, and trained in internal medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology with the City of Hope/Harbor-UCLA combined program.

About my practice

I became interested in the field of oncology because of many recent scientific advances in the treatment of cancer, leading to more cures and more people enjoying their quality of life during treatment. My approach to caring for members with cancer revolves around providing personalized medicine. This includes tailoring treatment by using new advances to understand each patient's disease process, as well as adjusting therapy to fit each patient's individual goals.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my children and loved ones.
