About Me

I am originally from the Northeast. I work to empower my patients through disease management and lifestyle modification. While I strive to manage patients’ care based on the latest evidence-based approaches, my master’s degree in nutrition and exercise physiology has also allowed me to help patients by decreasing their burden of disease through diet and exercise modification.

About my practice

The physician-patient relationship is more than just a list of medical conditions – it involves the whole person and their family, job and daily schedule. All play an important role in a person becoming and remaining healthy. I like to form open, honest relationships with my patients. Truthfulness is paramount as we partner to maintain your health. Areas that specifically interest me include arthritis, sports medicine, lifestyle modification and weight management. I perform joint injections, trigger point injections and basic osteopathic manipulation.

How I thrive

In my free time, I enjoy time with friends and family and watching sports, especially New York Giants and Virginia Tech football. In the past I was blessed to work with local free clinics to implement healthy lifestyle experiences for free clinic members. Each patient was paired with accountability “buddies” from the medical field who utilized motivational interviewing to help improve their lifestyles and reverse signs of disease. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you’ve helped change a patient’s life for the better.
