About Me

I was born and raised in New Jersey, and I stay in close touch with my large family there. While on vacation in Hawaii one year I fell in love with the place and the people. When I was ready for a job change, Hawaii seemed to be a great place for me to put down roots.

About my practice

The idea of a service occupation has always intrigued me. One day in my tenth grade biology class I found the study material so interesting that I decided on a career in medicine. Family medicince was the only specialty I considered. In my mind that practice was the most basic and all-encompassing. It seemed to offer both challenge and great personal rewards as I followed a family through the generations. Attending professional conferences and reading medical journals on line helps me to keep current in my field. The Hawaii Permanente Medical Group attracted me because of its cohesive, integrated medical model. My philospohy of care is to treat others as I myself would want to be treated. I connect with my patients by just being myself, speaking with them as I would with a member of my own family.

How I thrive

To stay healthy physically and mentally I go hiking, work out at the gym, and watch my diet. I also re-energize by traveling and spending time with friends.
