About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am proud to be a part of Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to assisting you with any medical problems you may have.

Biography

I am from India, where I went to medical school. Having traveled to and worked in so many countries has given me a broader perspective on life and how fortunate we are to be in the United States. My family shares my enthusiasm and the need to serve our less-fortunate brothers and sisters here in America as well as in developing countries. I have been blessed with a lovely family. I love to play with my teenage son. He loves football and basketball!

About my practice

I use my vacation time to participate in a nonprofit organization called Flying Doc, which serves people in developing nations by giving them access to emergency medicine. I enjoy visiting and working in these countries, teaching physicians and nurses as well as laypeople how to handle emergency medical conditions. I am on the teaching faculty of the Keck School of Medicine of USC, as well as at Georgetown University's Department of International Emergency Medicine in Washington, D.C.

How I thrive

I believe my life is meant for serving and giving, and the best way for me to accomplish that is to for me to be good at my work. In order to do everything I want, I know I have to keep myself fit. I exercise at least four times per week. I’m passionate about gardening and I also love photography, especially the flora and fauna in my own backyard.I love to play football and watch basketball games. I also like to travel to little-known places and talk to people of different cultures. I do yoga and plan on learning more of it because I feel it helps the body and mind.
