About Me

Thank you for viewing my biography. I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by the extraordinary group of members, staff, nurses, and physicians who make up the Kaiser Permanente family.

Biography

I was raised in Dana Point, California. I earned my bachelor's degree in bioengineering at UC Berkeley. I attended medical school at USC and did my residency training in emergency medicine at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. My decision to pursue medicine was sparked by my fascination with science as it relates to the human body. It is my pleasure to interact with many people in my profession and help patients live happier lives. I met my wife while studying medicine at USC. She also works in health care as a physician assistant.

About my practice

The emergency physicians at Kaiser Permanente San Diego work as a team to provide critically important care to many patients at the same time. We pride ourselves on seeing patients of all ages, with illnesses affecting all organ systems, at all hours of the day every day of the year. We feel honored to have such an important impact on peoples' lives.

How I thrive

I enjoy outdoor sports, including beach volleyball, surfing, snowboarding, tennis, and biking. My wife and I eat a healthy diet, cooking most meals at home. Lastly, and definitely not least, I feel happy and proud to do the work that I do.
