About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your physician.

Biography

I am originally from Iran. I was born and raised in a physician family. My background in high school was pure mathematics. Watching my father practice internal medicine and listening to his stories about diseases changed my decision. I graduated from Tehran University. After finishing medical school, I came to the United States and started residency in internal medicine at Loma Linda University. Then I joined Kaiser Permanente immediately.

About my practice

I work exclusively in the hospital, which means I see people if they need to stay in the hospital. I believe communication is the key in hospital medicine. This is why I listen to members carefully, even when they talk about nonmedical issues, because nonmedical problems can affect health—this helps me provide better care.

How I thrive

I try to continue learning and living well every day. Outside of my job, I enjoy learning ballroom dances like Argentinian tango and West Coast swing. I try to live Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy in my family by following a healthy life.
