About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I joined Kaiser Permanente at the Harbor-MacArthur Medical Offices in 2007. I have really enjoyed every moment of my time here. I believe that our doctors, along with our medical staff, provide the high-quality care for members.

Biography

I was born in Taiwan. My family moved to the U.S. in 1990. Since then, I have lived primarily in Orange County. Many of my family members have been members of the health care profession; for instance, both my grandfather and my father were pediatricians in Taiwan. Growing up, it was inspiring to see how they devoted so much effort to caring for the sick. There was a special incident that made me decide to pursue a medical career. During a family gathering, many people suffered food poisoning. I saw a room full of doctors discussing treatment plans, and I realized how much I wanted to do more than just bring blankets. After a missionary trip to China during medical school, I decided to become a doctor who can help patients physically, mentally, and spiritually. Therefore, family medicine was a clear choice for me. I enjoy every interaction with my patients because I believe that I can make a difference in people’s lives.

About my practice

I think our clinic staff works really well together as a team. We try to provide a good experience to every member who walks into our clinic. The medical staff and I want to help you whenever you have questions or concerns. I believe in working with each patient individually to come up with the best way to improve his or her health.

How I thrive

I believe that one needs to keep body, mind, and spirit healthy in order to thrive in life. I believe that life is a precious gift from God. Besides my time at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to play basketball and do oil painting on weekends. My local church has been providing me spiritual support throughout the years. I also enjoy going to other countries to do medical missionary trips. I always try my best to be a good role model to my patients by living a joyful and balanced life.
