About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page!

Biography

I grew up here in Southern California, finished my undergraduate studies in biological sciences at UC Irvine, and then went to medical school in Philadelphia. After experiencing four distinct seasons for four years, I decided that I preferred sunny Southern California to raise my family.

About my practice

As an emergency medicine physician, I often joke with friends and family that I wouldn’t want to see them in the Emergency Department. However, in an unfortunate circumstance that I happen to see you there, I will perform to the best of my ability to treat you as I would my own friends or family members. The unique ability of the Emergency Department to treat and care for anyone with acute illnesses or injuries depends upon great teamwork. Our team consists of everyone from ERAs and respiratory therapists, to nurses and doctors. I’m proud to be an integral part of that great team.

How I thrive

As an emergency medicine physician, I work a lot of evening and overnight hours, which disturbs the normal human circadian rhythm. Therefore, in order to stay sane and healthy, I sleep a lot during my days off and try to exercise whenever possible. I mostly run to stay in shape and keep stress at a manageable level.
