About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician at Kaiser Permanente. I am a cardiologist and have practiced for more than 15 years at the Downey Medical Center. I feel fortunate to be able to work at Kaiser Permanente as a clinician and strive to make our organization one of the best health care systems in the nation.

Biography

I come from a large family and now have a growing family of my own. I have lived in Southern California for more than 30 years. I chose to go into medicine so that I could make a real difference in people's lives. I went to UC Irvine for medical school and also did my residency and cardiology fellowship there.

About my practice

I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy. I consider myself to be your partner in your medical care, and it helps me when you are actively involved in your care. Medicine provides a special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. I feel honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and I treat them as I would my own family, giving them the best care that I am capable of.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with my family. I am involved with other mothers in my community. We share our experiences with the goal of being better people and better parents. I am currently working to create a charity organization that involves young children. I believe that it's an important part of every parent's responsibility to teach our children at a young age to care for the community and the underprivileged. I love to travel with my family. I like to read books. I also enjoy spending time with people from outside the field of medicine to provide some balance in my life.
