About Me

I am originally from Sylvania, Ohio and moved to Colorado in 1994. I became interested in medicine as I wanted to combine my passion for helping others with my passion for the life sciences. I attended the Ohio State University Medical School and graduated AOA (medical honorary). I did my internship at the University of Cincinnati and residency at Ohio State. I am board certified in Internal Medicine. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2000 and currently practice at the Baseline medical office in Boulder.

About my practice

I believe that the doctor/patient relationship is a partnership. I believe it is my responsibility to provide you with the best medical care to treat the "whole person" and allow you to help guide your care. I understand that illness can be stressful and I always do my best to communicate with my patients as soon as possible to help relieve their anxiety. I also advocate preventative health care through appropriate diet, exercise and pertinent screening tests. I treat adults with several types of conditions as well as healthy adults with the occasional illness or need for a physical.

How I thrive

My husband and I enjoy running, cycling, traveling and camping. I enjoy helping him with his music hobby and I also enjoy photography, gardening and yoga.
