About Me

My decision to become a physician dates back to early childhood after surviving a severe illness. I remained steadfast in my quest, ultimately obtaining my medical degree from the University of Jos in Nigeria. I then completed my residency in internal medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. After residency, I decided on a career in primary care because of my belief that prevention is the key to a healthy lifestyle and longevity.

About my practice

Kaiser Permanente's focus on health and well-being, affordable and quality health care, evidence-based medicine and research is a good fit for me. Therefore, I am pleased to be a member of Kaiser Permanente's Georgia region. My practice covers the full scope of internal medicine. I encourage our members to be active participants in their health care because I believe that medical care is best when there is collaboration between physicians and their patients. If I succeed in teaching our members to take better care of themselves, they will be better equipped to live a happy, fulfilled and healthy life.

How I thrive

Faith plays an important part in my life. I begin each morning with quiet time. I exercise for at least 30 minutes each day on my elliptical machine. I love traveling, reading novels, watching movies and listening to music.
