About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I was born in France and grew up in South America. My father is French and my mother is from Chile. After medical school, I was trained in hematology at Lariboisière Hospital in Paris. I came to Los Angeles in 1987, on a cancer research fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. After completing my internship and internal medicine residency, I was trained in medical oncology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. It was in Los Angeles were I met my husband and where my children were born and raised. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1995. I could not be happier with my career. I am fluent in Spanish and French. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.

About my practice

Medicine—and particularly hematology/oncology—is a very special opportunity to connect with people and help them in a meaningful way, utilizing specialized medical skills and knowledge, but also simply listening and responding to what my patients need.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s emphasis on a healthy lifestyle and try to live it in my life every day.
