About Me

Welcome! I hope this page will help you learn a little about me, how I work, and what I do to live well. If you’re looking for a physician, I’d love to have the chance to work with you.

Biography

I received my undergraduate degrees in biology and philosophy, as well as my medical degree from UC San Diego. I then moved to San Jose to attend Stanford University’s family medicine residency program, but I knew I would always consider San Diego home.

About my practice

As a family physician, I’m trained to help members at all stages of disease and wellness, at all stages of life. I believe in treating the whole person, and that’s why I try to really get to know my members—so I can identify treatment plans that will work best for them in their individual lives. I’m also dedicated to keeping up-to-date with current research and practices that can help my members with the broad spectrum of medical issues that life presents.

How I thrive

I live well by laughing! Exercise and a good diet are important, but nothing beats a good sense of humor. I enjoy hitting the beach, eating fine cuisine, reading, and spending time with my wife and kids. I’m also a huge sports fan, and I love to talk sports with my members.
