About Me

Welcome to Kaiser Permanente and to my Web page! I’m pleased to have this opportunity to introduce myself and to tell you about my practice. I am a board-certified surgeon and look forward to partnering with you to care for your health.

I completed my medical education and surgical training in Chicago but came back to Southern California because of my extended family roots. I started practicing at Kaiser Permanente in 1997 and have been here ever since.

About my practice

My practice is primarily focused on colon and rectal surgery. I provide comprehensive care related to various colorectal diseases in both evaluation and surgical treatment. That includes endoscopy, as well as open and minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopic and robotic operations. I make it a priority to inform and educate members so they can more easily understand the issues that concern them and actively participate in the clinical decision-making process. I feel privileged that members have entrusted me with their surgical care and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

I endeavor to pursue a healthy, balance lifestyle. I take a proactive role in my physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. I enjoy traveling and the great outdoors.
