About Me

I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Seeing my grandfather struggle with the complications of glaucoma made me want to learn more about the precious gift of vision. I was also inspired to pursue a medical career by my interest in the health field and my desire to help others.

About my practice

I enjoy practicing at the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group because of the integrated care and the emphasis on prevention. Treating each patient the way I would want to be treated and focusing on preventive care are both very important aspects of my practice. I enjoy hearing patients’ life stories because it tells me a lot about them and their personality. It also helps me to better understand their visual needs.

How I thrive

I like to exercise with friends and get as much rest as possible. I also enjoy spending time with my family, playing Scrabble and other board games, and golfing whenever I can.
