About Me

Hello, my name is Ella.  Welcome to my Web page.  I would like to give you the opportunity to get to know me as your occupational medicine physician.

I was born in the Philippines and moved to the USA at 28 years of age.  I came with my nursing and medical degrees and began a fulfilling journey, both personally and professionally.  I started my career as a nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.  Next, I obtained my family medicine training at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia, where eventually I became a practitioner of urgent care and occupational medicine.

About my practice

I am passionate about medicine.  It is my opportunity to gain meaningful insight into each member's life.  Every day at work gives me a chance to get to know them, offer treatment options, alleviate pain, and hopefully promote positive change. It is my privilege to be your physician for your occupational health needs.

How I thrive

I strive to achieve balance in my life, as because I wear many "hats.".  Each role I have can be demanding, but I am blessed with great support from co-workers, friends, and family.  I am a wife and mother to 2 young children, whom I enjoy pampering with home-cooked traditional Filipino food. I enjoy spending time with my family.  We are "foodies" who enjoy trying new dishes and cuisines. We take time for small outings or even just quiet nights at home watching a movie. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and crafting.  I love holidays, as it is a perfect excuse to go overboard with cooking and decorating!
