I was born and raised in Oregon and love the outdoors. I decided to become a physician when I was in high school and have enjoyed my journey thus far. The long-term relationships I develop with patients are among the many reasons I decided to specialize in nephrology. I graduated from New York Medical College and completed my physician training in internal medicine and nephrology in Los Angeles.
I have an interest in all aspects of nephrology including treatment of hypertension and chronic kidney disease. I also have a special interest in transplant nephrology. I believe it is important that my patients understand their diseases and how different therapies work, in order for them to be as involved as possible in their health care.
I try to achieve a balance of the mind, body, and spirit by spending time with family and friends, going for hikes, and camping.
