About Me

I have lived in Colorado my entire life. I am married with two daughters. I have been with Kaiser Permanente since August 2010 working in Perinatal Hospital and Home Care. This is my dream job. I feel fortunate to provide care for women and their babies in the home. I enjoy the relationships that have been made in this unique form of health care.

About my practice

Midwife means “with women.” I have centered my practice in that philosophy and have added “with baby.” The postpartum time is a very vulnerable time for women and their families. I feel so fortunate to be welcomed into their homes. Keeping families in the home goes back to the origins of midwifery care. I believe we need a happy, healthy mother to have a happy, healthy baby. That helps create a happy, healthy family.

How I thrive

I love to read. My favorite pass time is reading books to discuss with my book club. I also enjoy listening to audio books during my commute between home visits. Another love of mine is spending time with my family in our backyard and garden. I also enjoy backpacking and camping.
