About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and to tell about my practice. I take pride in providing high quality eye care to my patients in the same manner I would treat my own family.

Biography

My father enjoyed a successful career in optometry and he inspired me to choose optometry for my own career. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I graduated with honors. I then graduated cum laude from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA where I earned my Doctor of Optometry degree. My wife and I chose to make our home in Southern California rather than returning to the frigid Wisconsin winters. I owned my own practice in Lake Forest for 20 years, specializing in contact lenses. I then joined Kaiser Permanente in 2013, because I knew I’d be able toconcentrate on my first love: patient care.

About my practice

I practice general eye care and I especially enjoy prescribing contact lenses. I like to personalize my patients' experience by getting to know them and their families. I do my best to make them as comfortable as possible and to always offer the best care I can.

How I thrive

I love to spend quality time with my friends and family. My wife and I enjoy travel and discovering new places, both in the United States and abroad. My three grandchildren bring my wife and me great pleasure, and their unlimited energy definitely keeps us feeling young. In my spare time I like to read and garden. My family practices a healthy life style and I encourage my patients to do the same.
