About Me

Welcome to my Web page! It is my pleasure to have the opportunity to share a bit about myself. Here you will find information about my credentials and my practice style.

Biography

I spent most of my life growing up in the wonderful city of Chicago. This is where I attended high school, college, and medical school and completed my residency training. I am the first doctor in the family, although many of my extended family are in nursing (including my mother). Both my mother and my aunt (who suffered from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS) inspired me to go into medicine. After meeting my spouse in medical school and starting a family, we have moved around quite a bit, from Chicago, to San Antonio, to Los Angeles, and now to Orange County.

About my practice

My passions are preventive care through a healthy lifestyle and management of chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. I believe in delivering care that is accessible, compassionate, and based on current evidence and research. I want to partner with you to come up with a plan that keeps you healthy or helps you recover when you are sick. I am a strong advocate for exercise programs to maintain physical and mental well-being.

How I thrive

I believe that keeping balance is important in staying healthy for myself, for my family, and for members. I make the most of the time I spend with my husband and 2 children. We enjoy outdoor activities, visiting family across the states, and traveling. We enjoy healthy eating and regular exercise.
