About Me

Hi, my name is Paul Ho, and I was born and raised in Los Angeles. Our eyes are important for seeing the world around us, but our vision can be impaired by medical conditions as well as aging factors. I became an optometrist to treat medical conditions affecting the eye and to help people see better.

Biography

I grew up in Los Angeles and attended UC Irvine, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biology. I received my doctorate of optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. My training included working at the VA hospital in Boston, the VA hospital in Newington, Connecticut, and at Loyola Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, Illinois.

About my practice

At the Optometry Department, we examine the eyes and other parts of the visual system. We diagnose and treat visual problems, and manage eye diseases, injuries, and other disorders of the eyes. Eyeglasses or contact lenses are prescribed as needed.

How I thrive

In my spare time, I enjoy mountain biking, watching movies, watching sporting events, and playing with my children.
