About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and Manager of Emergency Psychiatric Services. Born and raised in Oregon, I have also lived in Boston and the San Francisco Bay Area (where I received my doctorate in psychology). My wife and I have a lovely daughter and two very fun and loving terriers.

About my practice

I have worked in the behavioral health field for over 3 decades, with a broad range of clinical and administrative experience in private practice, outpatient, residential, juvenile forensic, and hospital settings, where I have worked with adult, adolescent, and child populations. My current role is as clinical manager, with clinical oversight of our emergency psychiatric services. In this capacity I am passionate about guiding and supporting excellent patient care for our members in crisis.

How I thrive

I love living an active and full life. My favorite physical activities include racquetball, hiking, running, boogie boarding, and gym-based exercise. I thoroughly enjoy music and have played the trumpet in jazz bands and small combos. I make time to read, "decompress", and reflect.
