About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Kaiser Permanente Web page. Should you choose our clinic, my hope is that we can help you learn how to lead and maintain a healthy life.

I'm originally from Southern California, and I love it here. I chose a career in medicine because it uses scientific knowledge to treat illness and help others.

About my practice

I’ve been practicing family medicine for about 15 years, and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2006. My training has been focused on caring for young families, and I welcome children to my practice. My practice is always open to children under the age of 10 as well as prenatal patients. I believe in preventing health problems, and I support routine screening to maintain the health of my members. I also remain involved in academic medicine as an administrative faculty member for the family medicine residency program. I also hold a voluntary faculty appointment at UC San Diego School of Medicine.

How I thrive

I strive to keep a balance in life between work and play. I enjoy traveling and relaxing with friends. To stay healthy, I try to exercise four times per week by running, occasionally practicing yoga, and eating a low cholesterol diet.
