I am glad to have this opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. I think it is important that you feel comfortable with and confident in your rheumatologist. I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
My rheumatology practice on a referral basis. Your initial consultation will involve me getting to know your general health, other medical problems and all your current medications, in addition to diagnosing your rheumatologic condition. I believe that listening to details of your story is often more informative than all other tests. I try to keep very current by attending educational conferences on all new developments in the field of rheumatology to be able to meet the best needs of my patients.
I was born in the Punjab state of Northern India. After completing my postgraduate training in internal medicine and rheumatology, I practiced for couple of years in Cleveland, Ohio. I fell in love with sunny Southern California during a visit in 1982 and decided to make it my home for good.
I believe in the value of some form of exercise. I like going for a long walk daily and am able to go to the gym about twice a week. I like to spend a portion of my vacation time with my college-age kids. I also like watching old movies and programs on public TV.
