About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I am a board-certified general surgeon with added certification in critical care. I truly enjoy my job.

Biography

I’ve lived in many places, but have been in Southern California longer than anywhere else. I went to medical school and completed my surgery residency at Loma Linda University. I joined Kaiser Permanente in Fontana in 1988, and have been here ever since.

About my practice

I perform a broad spectrum of general surgery, but spend the majority of time doing thyroid and parathyroid surgery, as well as pancreatic and biliary surgery.

How I thrive

I’ve been fortunate to be very healthy—and hope to remain that way! I primarily attribute my health to diet and exercise. I’ve been a vegetarian since birth, and I enjoy distance running. I’m a hiker, a farmer, and a birdwatcher.
