About Me

I grew up in Salem, Oregon, and am excited to be back to raise my growing family. I graduated from Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine, completed my family medicine residency near Chicago, and completed an obstetrics fellowship in San Jose, California. I truly felt called to practice medicine and feel privileged to have the opportunity now to serve Kaiser Permanente members. I am committed to helping my patients be healthy, get healthy, and stay healthy.

About my practice

I chose family medicine because I enjoy taking care of people of all ages and backgrounds. It is important to take a compassionate and holistic approach to medicine in treating patients in times of illness but equally important to discuss preventive care during routine visits. Although I no longer help women deliver their babies, I am excited to continue taking care of pregnant women and their families. I am especially interested in prenatal care, breastfeeding medicine, pediatrics, and women's health. I spent much of my education and training in Spanish-speaking countries and am pleased to be part of the Latino module at Kaiser Permanente.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with my husband and our family. Our young children and dog keep us busy! We love to be outdoors, exploring Oregon’s natural beauty. We also enjoy spending time with our extended family along the West Coast and in the Midwest.
