Welcome. I'm glad to have the opportunity to share my background with patients and their families through my Web page.
Biography
I grew up just outside of New York City. My undergraduate and medical school training was completed in New York State. I moved to Denver after my residency in pediatrics and spent eight years there. My wife and I moved to Los Angeles in 2008.
About my practice
I work as a pediatric hospitalist at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, which means I specialize in taking care of kids in the hospital. I work with a team of pediatric physicians in the hospital. We are also responsible for teaching and supervising physicians who are completing their training in the Kaiser Permanente pediatric residency program. Prior to working with Kaiser Permanente, I worked as a hospital physician in Denver. I also worked for five years in primary care as a private practice pediatrician in a Denver suburb.
How I thrive
I like staying active through cycling, running, and swimming, and I compete in triathlons every summer. I enjoy the outdoors and like hiking and camping. I'm also an avid skier.
