About Me

I am originally from Tucson, Arizona, and have been in Colorado since 1995. My undergraduate degree is in anthropology and I received my medical degree from the University of Colorado, Denver, in 2003. I completed my residency training at St. Anthony Family Medicine here in Denver and am a board-certified family physician. After residency, I completed a year as chief resident and then proceeded to work for 6 years in community health.

About my practice

I am passionate and driven in medicine by the fundamental human relationship, and believe strongly in patient-centered and driven care. Essential to this relationship is a crucial understanding of health literacy, and I strive to help my patients understand how to make educated decisions in their own health care.

How I thrive

I am also motivated in life by my relationships with family and friends. My wonderful husband and I are fortunate to have 2 sons. We enjoy spending our time being active outdoors, listening to live music, traveling, gardening and cooking together.
