I am pleased to offer this Web site as a means to provide helpful medical information for my patients, as well as an opportunity for you to learn more about me. I hope that I will be able to better serve you with current information, useful handouts, and helpful Web links.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I went to college and got a master's degree in epidemiology at UCLA. I then went to Philadelphia to study medicine at Jefferson Medical College. My love is Los Angeles, so my husband and I came back to UCLA for my residency, and then I joined the Family Medicine Department at Baldwin Park Kaiser Permanente, where I have been ever since. I have two children, a wonderful husband, and a love for my job and my patients.
Medicine is a very special opportunity for me to connect and help people in a meaningful way, using my medical skills and knowledge to listen and respond to what patients need. As a doctor, I can help patients understand what concerns them, help them understand their health, and facilitate appropriate evaluations and care. I am honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and I strive to treat them with the utmost respect.
I enjoy my two young children and watching them as they grow and thrive. I am involved in their many activities. I also enjoy reading, traveling, and cooking.
