About Me

I am happy to have this opportunity to share some information about myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your physician, so I hope the information here will help you to start to get to know me.

Biography

I did my psychiatry training in Europe, and then I continued my education at UCLA, where I earned master’s degrees in public health and public policy. Subsequently, I did my general psychiatry residency training at the UCLA San Fernando Valley Psychiatry Residency Program. As I was very interested in child development, I completed further training in the adolescent psychiatry program at UC San Diego. I am board certified in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, and I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2014. I am fluent in Romanian and Russian, and I am learning Spanish.

About my practice

I am open to treat any mental illness, and I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I am particularly interested in ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and OCD spectrum disorders. My goal working with my patients is not only to treat the symptoms of mental illness but also help them follow the normal development curve and help them achieve the tasks and milestones for each developmental period. My ultimate goal while working with my patients is achievement of a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with my family. I like outdoor activities, physical exercise, and reading.
