About Me

I am a Colorado native and graduate of Brighton High School. I started my medical career in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman. After serving 7 years, I was a medical assistance in Maine before returning to school to become a registered nurse. I earned my ADN from Kennebec Valley Community College and worked in the emergency room until returning to Colorado in 2008. I continued to work as a RN in the emergency room and earned my BSN through Metropolitan State University in 2012. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2013, then returned to school to become a nurse practitioner in 2016. I am family-focused and active in the community.

About my practice

I believe that we should all try to live a happy and healthy life, no matter your age. I approach patient care in a holistic manner, discussing treatment options and partnering with the patient in every aspect of their care. I understand that every patient is different and therefore their treatment plans should be as well. I believe that health living is achieved through disease management and prevention. I encourage patients to ask questions and be active participants in their health care. I am compassionate about the care that I provide to my patients.

How I thrive

I enjoy anything that gets me outdoors like camping, bike and motorcycle rides, running, swimming, soccer, and softball. During the winter I enjoy going to the gym, sewing, and crocheting. My favorite is time spent with my husband and our 6 children ages 12-20 years old.
